You can print these out or make your own.
In her own word: Every evening starting November 1st we put one leaf on each tree. On one leaf we write something we are grateful for and stick it on the Thanks Tree. On another leaf we write something we have done to serve or give to others and place it on our Giving Tree. Serving can be as simple as smiling at someone, singing a song to a crying baby, sharing a toy, or writing a letter to Grandma.
I think I am going to do something similar, but instead of putting the leaves on a tree I am going to hang them from ribbon to make a leaf garland that I can hang in our entry way. Like this one from the High Heeled Mama.

What a great idea! I think that kids would really get in on this!
I love this. We do not have any Thanksgiving decorations. I am really excited to see all the ideas that you post.
I love the garland idea.
I am thinking of heading down to my local scrapbook store and checking out their selection of leaf dies!
I love the trees and leaves...what a cute idea! I'm not sure if I have a single fall decoration, so this just might be going up in the dining room! :)
I'm making ours tomorrow. Thanks Lorie!

That is a wonderful way to teach kindness to kids. I think I'll do this with my 3 year old.
