If you still don't have a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving dinner, here are some quick ideas from Better Homes and Gardens. Most of the items can be found around your house and will save you from having to make another trip out to the store!
Don't have time to get some beautiful sunflowers. Replace them with fall leaves!
Have a low box or a deep frame. And some pumpkins or gourds around your house you are using as decorations somewhere. Throw in some chrysanthemums (or again, go outside and get some Fall leaves) and Voila!
Now this one might take a trip to the hardware store for some gold spray paint (or you can just keep them their natural beautiful colors), but I am sure most of us have a cake plate!
I am a big fan of pumpkins and these pumpkin candle holders are beautiful. You can even keep one of the men in your life busy snapping the stems off the pumpkins. It will make them feel manly!
And any of these make a nice addition to your Fall decor if you already have your table decorated.

Those are GREAT and inexpensive ideas! Thanks for sharing them!
Linked from SITS and just wanted to say hi. I'll be back to check out more of your great ideas!
I love the pumpkin candle holder. That is a great idea. I would have never thought of that.
My fav is the Pumpkin Candle Holder. It is so simple. My son is taking a floraculture class and did a center piece with a pumpkin and flowers. He did an AWESOME job!
I am almost finished decorating for Christmas do you think the pumpkin holder would be out of place?
Wow. These are great. I love the simply beauty of the sunflowers.
Very cute ideas!!
I also love the pumpkin holder the best.
Love the gold painted thingamajigs!!!!! Thank you, you keep me inspired.
You can also use a pumpkin as a "vase" for a flower arrangement, similar to how they have the candle in that last picture. I did that a couple years ago for Thanksgiving, and it turned out beautifully!
