Christmas Garland

I found this picture from Pottery Barn on Leslie's site.

Look at the garland hanging around the room. It has Christmas presents on it. How cute is that? I am trying to find another example or a close up of the swag, but so far no such luck.

So what do you think they made that with? Are they cardboard boxes, Styrofoam squares? Are they hot glued to fabric or a rope? How are they attached? What are they attached to?

That is really cute. So is the bedding. I hope you figure out how its made, and maybe you can share it with us.

Cute, but hard to tell how they're done!

I love Potterybarn too... and your website always has such wonderful ideas! Not sure how they are done, but when I saw the picture I thought it would be a neat thing to use as an advent calendar- maybe cover lids and boxes separately and keep them closed with ribbon. Just a thought...

That is very pretty. I am not sure what that could make out of. If you find out let us know.

Neat, and I love the bedding. Oh how I wish I could afford Christmas bedding!

I think they are little wrapped presents hot glued on jute twine or string. You could use mini boxes, cut up styrofoam shapes or even wrap up some tiny tupperware or "junk" containers.
