Picture Frame Fall Wreath

This Fall wreath from High Heels and A Hammer is picture perfect:
Or at least picture frame perfect.  (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)  But honestly, what a clever and beautiful idea!  And you can find an old frame to spray paint for a lot less then the styrofoam circles that you usually start a crafty wreath with.

Plus this one is square.  I love square!

Show and Tell Wreaths

This Show and Tell Saturday was so fun!  So many participants and all such fun projects!  I wanted to show you some of the really cute wreaths that were posted.

Sara's Blog turned lollipop ghosts into a really cute wreath:

I Saw That Going Differently... worked some wreath magic with beans:

Amazing Grace turned some Hobby Lobby finds into this cute fall display:

Thrifty, Nifty and Wise used some fabric scraps and then framed it.  I love when people frame wreaths:

Decor Roomies put a wreath inside of a wreath, which just gives you more bang for your buck:

Scene of the Grime made a wreath out of recycled soda bottles:

And That Village House showed us how she stores all of her cute wreaths:

Paper Leaf Wreath

Another wreath made from paper:

But this one from The Red Thread comes in the form of paper leaves, not loops. This would be very cute in fall colors as well. Next year!!

Nuts about this Wreath

Okay, sorry for the pun. I couldn't help myself. But I really do love this wreath from Martha:

It reminds me of my Grandparents. They always had mixed nuts out for the holidays and as a kid I loved using the nutcracker to break into them. Half of the time I didn't even eat them. It was just fun to use the nutcracker.

So even though it would be beautiful for the Fall, it reminds me of Christmas.

Book Wreath

Living with Lindsay posted a tutorial on how to make this funky and cute wreath from pages of an old book. It caught my eye because I loved the title of her post...Librarians, Please Avert Your Eyes:

I then saw it pop up again at Jennifer's blog, Lipstick and Laundry:

And since I am always looking for a good way to use an old book I thought I would add this to my collection of ideas. You can check out some of the others HERE. It is too bad I don't have any books with Fall colored pages.

Harvest Corn Garland

This is definitely a new take on a Fall Garland:

Martha used multicolored decorative corn is tied together and hung as a garland. I am not sure how I feel about this.

What do you think? Corn Garland? Yay or Nay?

I think I like this wreath made from corn better:

I found it at The Keepers House on Etsy.
