Christmas Gift Wrapping

The bulk of my Christmas gifts are wrapped late in the night on Christmas Eve, right before Santa arrives.  Lots of wrapping paper, tape, and store bought labels and bows.  But there are the special few that are wrapped ahead of time. Gifts for teachers and neighbors that get a little more attention and are fun to dress up with ribbons and tulle.   I am not really great at making bows with fancy ribbon, so tulle has become my go to ribbon tying material of choice!  This year, Oriental Trading sent me some fun Christmas wrapping goodies to try out.

They have always been my go to place for fun kids Christmas crafts, especially for class parties, but they have all sorts of great Christmas goodies!  I love their selection of gift bags and boxes, like these scalloped beauties that were perfect for wrapping up gift cards.

I picked out kraft and white colored boxes and bags that are perfect for any holiday.  Then I dressed them up for Christmas with festive washi tape, curling ribbon, and tulle.  Lots of possibilities with a good neutral background!

I also love having lots of boxes and bags handy to make wrapping odd shaped items a breeze!  There is nothing like trying to use wrapping paper on a lopsided toy at 2am on Christmas morning.

What are you must have Christmas wrapping items?  I would love some ideas to add to my wrapping collection!
