No Bake Oreo Bars from Sweet Pea's Kitchen
I am pretty sure I already know how delicious these are going to be, even without trying them. They reminded me of Oreo truffles (which I still think are 10 times better than cake pops) but they are actually more like rice krispie treats, but with Oreos instead of rice krispies.
I found them over at Sweet Pea's Kitchen. She used a recipe that she got over at Picky Palate. There are a lot of similar recipes out there. I like this one from Food.com that adds chocolate chips and nuts. Almost treating them like a brownie, but without the need to turn on your oven.
And if you have never had an Oreo truffle, you need to try one. Mix an 8 oz package of softened cream cheese with a 16 oz package of crushed Oreos, then make balls (about an inch in diameter) and dip them in chocolate. You can use candy melts or even almond bark if you want a different color or something easier than tempering chocolate.
And good luck trying not to eat them all.
