The countdown to summer has officially begun in our house.  With the last week of school upon us, we have purchased pool passes, planned our first family vacation, and have started making a list of activities to keep us busy and entertained this summer.

I like to have a second list on hand.  A list with fun ideas to throw in as surprises or back up plans.  This fun and messy painting project from Housing a Forest is going on the second list.

I will have to make sure to stock up on plastic table covers, because Tammy's site is full of fun and messy painting projects like credit card painting and microwave puffy paint.
