Last week I bought a pineapple at the grocery store.  Ruby loves pineapple, but I usually buy the pineapple that has been cored and peeled by the handy machine in the produce department.  When Ruby saw the pineapple sitting in my kitchen she told me she didn't want to eat it.  I thought I knew what was coming next.  "It looks yucky!" 

I was wrong.

"It makes our kitchen look fancy."

My three year old daughter didn't want to eat the pineapple because it made our kitchen look fancy.
