Coffee Filter Easter Baskets from Aunt Peaches
No one in my house drinks coffee, but last week my 91 year old grandmother came to visit us so we ran out and bought a coffee maker. Now she is gone and we have a bunch of coffee filters to remind us that we miss her.
So I think I am going to put them to good use. I am going to banish plastic Easter house from visiting my house this year and instead replace it with pretty dyed coffee filters.
You can see the tutorial for these coffee filter Easter baskets over at Aunt Peaches. And if you are a fan of plastic Easter grass, but are looking for a good coffee filter craft, you can always let the kids make some flowers for Mother's Day.

Those are so beautiful! Hard to believe they started out as coffee filters!
Wow, who knew coffee filters could be made into something so beautiful!
That hot pink basket is fabulous!
Let's make some...in Kentucky.
Love the coffee filter flowers. I've been doing crafts with coffee filters {with my preschoolers} for years. They are so cheap. I'll have to try this with the kids, after we visit Kentucky of course.
I'm still crying because I sat and watched I'll Build You a Rainbow. Man.
