Autism Awareness: Love You To Pieces

Love You To Pieces from Today's Top 20

This month is Autism Awareness Month.  I have had the pleasure of getting to know some bloggers who are Autism moms and learning their stories.  This month is a great time for you to learn their stories too.

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Mique from 30 Handmade Days made these cute rainbow puzzle piece rice krispie treats.

She also made these great printables that you can download HERE ad use to package them up.

Callye from The Sweet Adventures of Sugar Belle has teamed up with Mique before, and she has again, making these very cute puzzle piece cookies.

And she is giving away a jar of the cookies and the very cute cookie cutter on her blog.

I urge you to read Mique's story and if you would like to donate to Autism research, you can find out how to do that HERE.

Have you met Betsy at http://myfivemen.blogspot.com
She has triplets with Autism and she is unbelievable. I think she deserves a trip to Kentucky!

It is great to make others aware of autism. My first experience with an autistic child was when I did my student teaching and I was not prepared. No one offered any suggestions for how to work with this autistic first grade boy. It would have been so helpful to have had all of these blogs as resources back then.
