Strawberry Truffle Cake from Kristen Duke
This truffle cake that Kristen made uses a method that reminds me of a cake pop or Oreo truffle. You bake a cake, but then you crumble it and add in some fudgey goodness, some strawberries and then form in back into the shape of a cake. Throw in some more ganache and it sounds just about heavenly.
You can even top it with white chocolate if you feel so inclined.

Ooh that does look good! We made one today (13 year anniversary is tomorrow and then hubby is working V-day) from a Kraft Magazine recipe using cake mix, pudding/pie filling mix, coolwhip, strawberry jam, and strawberries. Maybe I'll take a pic of it and post it. The real thing never looks as good as it does in the Kraft picture though, does it?!
