so cute. I'm thinking about doing a similar thing but putting a light at the top. I'll just add that to the file of stuff I'm thinking about doing... then it will get done in five years.
Yes, if I went to the effort to make those candy canes, I think I would have added something else to give it pizzazz. But it's a dandy look for the streeet. Jolly!
Those are so much fun! We used to live in a neighborhood where everyone lit their sidewalk strip of trees in all white. It was SO beautiful to drive through at night!
Where we live there's a street nick named Candy Cane Lane and they have those in front of each house as well as a banner over each garage wishing you Merry Christmas in a different language. Very cute, they've been doing it for about 40 years and some years are better then others but its still cute.
