Beadboard Turkeys

Someday Crafts posted about these cute beadboard turkeys from Chapman Place:

And now I can't decide if I like the beadboard vertical (like feathers) or horizontal:

The gorgeous colors she used makes it hard to decide.  I guess you need an entire set like she made.  And I am thinking they would look really cute next to some Gobble 'Til You Wobble Blocks!

So what is your vote?  Vertical, horizontal, or a mixture of both?  Check out Jessica's Tutorial HERE and see if that helps make up your mind!

Thanks for the mention. It's funny! I will go a day or two without looking at your site and then go back at what I missed and I will feature one or two of the same projects. We have some similar tastes! sorry to see that you got eliminated. It's tough competition!!!!

I think a mix would be great! Is it wrong that I want to rip out the beadboard in my bathroom to make some turkeys???

Staci, not wrong at all! Totally normal!

The horizontal orientation makes the turkeys look like beehives to me (look, you'll see what I mean!) I prefer the vertical lines.

It was an accident that the lines turned out that way. I didn't even notice I had cut them different until my mom said something.

I can't decide if I like them vertical or horizontal. I think I like them mixed...

Thanks for featuring me!
