Trick or Treat Bags

I love the bags that kids carry while trick or treating almost as much as the costumes.  Sometimes they are the perfect addition to the costume, sometimes they are just the bright orange jack-o-lantern, and other times they are something random that falls in between the two.  And I love all of them, even when they are not full of candy!

Here are some fun trick or treat baskets I have seen while floating around the wonderful land of blog.

Just Make It shared this rag basket for Show and Tell Saturday:

She doesn't have a tutorial posted yet, but you can find basic rag basket tutorials onlines.

Just Another Hangup sewed these bags for her grandchildren  I am not a big sewer, but I bet I could buy a canvas bag and add a cute fabric candy corn to it:

Kind of like this cute monogramed bag from Sister's Stuff:

And these felt trick or treat bags can be made in any color and decorated with a ton of fun things, like ghosts, jack-o-lanterns, or bats:

What do your kids use for their trick or treat bags?

I found a super cute orange metal bucket in Target's dollar section. It was out for Halloween, so it already had a black face on it. To make it a little more fun, I tied a bunch of ribbons to the handle for her to carry around. It's super cute and looks great being used to pass out treats too.
