Fall Food

Decorating for the Fall is fun, but lets be honesty, this time of year is really about two things.  Being thankful and good food.

Here are some of the fun recipes that were shared yesterday on Show and Tell Saturday:

Mom Endeavors has a recipe for Pumpkin Turnovers:

Here is another pumpkin cinnamon roll recipe, this one from Singing With Birds, that I am going to try:

Crafts & Sutch posted about a Pumpkin and Gingerbread Trifle she made:

Singing With Birds has some yummy treats that would work for a party tonight or any party from now until it is officially winter:

And apple butter is something that holds a special place in my heart.  It was a special treat that my grandfather and I shared and it will forever remind me of him.  Love People, Like Things has a recipe for Sugar Free Apple Butter and I am going to have to give it a try:

If you have a favorite Fall recipe on your blog that you would like to share, I would love for you to leave a link for me in the comment section!

"I wasn't supposed to put meat in the trifle!!!!!!"

"No you weren't. It did not taste good."

I can't help it. The word trifle is permanently scarred for me.

Our family tradition is dinner baked inside a pumpkin--can't get much more seasonal than that!
