Candy Corn Decor

Andy from Poppies at Play used some wine glasses as votives and filled them with candy corn and a candle:

Somewhere on my blog there is a picture of wine glasses turned upside down, with flowers underneath, and a candle on top.  Of course I can't find it at the moment, but that would be a great look for the candy corns too!  Of course if anyone picked up the glass you would have a mess...but all in the name of cute halloween decor!  You would also have to fill the glass, put a piece of cardboard or paper over it, flip it, and then pull the cardboard out.

You could even put a pumpkin under one, but make sure it is a fake pumpkin.  Real pumpkins don't like being trapped in glass.  Ask me how I know.

Another cute idea for candy corn is this burlap candy sign from Craftomaniac:

I think one that says BOO would be cute!

I have to admit, this is SUPER cute but I would be tempted to eat the candy corn. It is one of my minor weaknesses. lol

so, how do you know that pumpkins don't like to be trapped under glass!?

Jess, I am safe from that weakness. Although I don't think there is much cuter to decorate with, I can't stand the taste of candy corn! :x

Jamie, last year I bought a ton of mini pumpkins and filled apothecary cars with them. After a couple of weeks they started to mold! :x It is the same concept as the peach in a brown paper bag. It makes them ripen (and then decay) faster!! Luckily I caught it before it got gross...but it was one of those DUH I should have thought of that moments!!

Candy corns in a vase with a candle has been one of my go-to fall decorations of choice for years now! Come winter months, I swap out the candy corns for red and green M & M's.
