Patchwork Calendar

I have tried about ever way known to man to keep a family calendar. The only one that has really worked for us is the big plain desk calendar hung with about a million magnets to the side of the fridge. It worked in AZ because the side of the fridge also happened to be RIGHT by the front door. Not as crazy as it sounds, I promise.

In this house the sides of the fridge are not accessible. The fridge sort of slides in between a wall and the cupboards. I still don't have a useful place to hang a calendar, so I have to actually keep in on my desk.

Guess what happens when you put your calendar on your desk.

It gets buried in stuff!!

So I am still on the lookout for a new way to calendar and this one from Mish Mash caught my eye:

She sells these patchwork calendars that are cuter than most of my scrapbook pages!  In my mind I am sure that having a calendar this cute would make me want to use it on a regular basis.

What do you think:

This is too cute! How fun would it be to mark all b'day's with one type of paper? I think I am going to do this with my wall calender! Thanks for sharing the inspiration.

THose are really cute. But I'm the big-desk-calendar type - so it doesn't get buried we just hung on the wall - it works!

I so know what you mean! I'm still on the lookout for that perfect calendar and wish I had a good place for it! Nothing works on the fridge and you can't see the sides. If you find that perfect idea, let me know!
