Mattress Spring Bulletin Boards

Vintage mattress springs make for a pretty unique bulletin board.  I first saw the idea at Funky Junk Interiors:

But of course my narrow mind couldn't get past it being used as a decorative piece.  But then I saw this  at VT Interiors:

and realized how useful it could be.

So that got me thinking...what else could you use old matress springs for?

A bean vine.  Wine bottle storage.  Decorative mantle piece.   Apparently the options are limitless!
