White Pitchers

Layla from The Lettered Cottage posted this beautiful picture of her mantle:

I always keep my eyes open for white pitchers when I am out shopping.  I would love to have a collection like this someday:

Okay, maybe not quite like that...but a little.  And although they won't be food safe, you can get a head start on your collection using the same trick that Layla used.  She took mismatched pitchers and spray painted them white.  Again, you can spray paint just about anything.

You can check out the rest of the details on her mantle HERE.

I love white dishes. I'm considering spray painting some vases and pitchers white to make a better display.

The mantle display is marvelous. I don't think I own a white pitcher or plate but that's about to change.

If you are looking for super cute and cheap pitchers, you should check out Old Time Pottery. I picked up a couple of really cute ones in different sizes that were perfect for springtime bouquets.
