And just a little trick to make rice krispies 10 times yummier...make them out of homemade marshmallows. Okay, that is a LOT of work. But at least add a little bit of vanilla extract to your marshmallow and rice krispie mixture when you are stirring it up. You will thank me!

I last made Rice Krispie Treats on Christ (as part of a semi-successful "gingerbread" house project) but used Cocoa Krispies instead. Mmmm, worked a lot better than the previous Halloween's Boo Berry and Frankenberry treats.
Great tip on the vanilla--good vanilla seems to make everything better!
