White Chocolate Popcorn

Make and Takes posted a quick and easy recipe for white chocolate popcorn:

We have handed out something similar for Christmas (using red and green M&Ms) and it is SO easy!  And we even had people ask for the recipe.  All we did was pop a bag of microwave butter popcorn, melt a couple of squared of white almond bark and mix them together (pick out all the unpopped kernels first!!)

She uses white chocolate and I bet it is even better.  You can check out her recipe HERE.  And make sure to check out her how to on making your own microwave popcorn with a brown paper bag HERE.

my friend added cinnamon oil to the melted almond bark and then added to a bag of microwave popcorn. I think it was seven drops of the oil. so good. linda Gerig

OK, I've pretty much narrowed it down and we'll be making this for our kids to pass out for Velentine's. It's homemade but it won't take a ton of time. SInce we have guests in town this year for the holiday I want something easy! I have this same recipe, but I always use colored candy melts from the craft store to make it more festive. Pink and red are both very cute.
