Glitter Heart Rag Garland

3 Three and Under made this very cute rag garland with glittery hearts for Valentine's Day:

You can see her tutorial HERE.  I have a feeling that if I keep seeing too many cute projects that use scrap fabric I am going to start collecting fabric even though I really don't sew!

And a tip for any of you that want to decorate with glitter in a place where you don't really want glitter all over the place...after it dries, use Mod Podge over the glitter to seal it!  I made some fun glittery hearts to hang from the ceiling of my songs classroom for his Valentine's party last year, but didn't want glitter raining down on their heads.  It keeps it all in place!

I love the garland idea. And the modge podge over glitter? I can't believe I never thought of that. I like glitter, but HATE it because it gets on everything and never leaves.

YES to mod podge!! When my daughter wears all the glitter off her sparkly shoes, I use mod podge to re-glitter them :)
