Bright Ideas for Valentine's Day

Bright Ideas continues to be one of my favorite sites for holiday treats. Wanna see why?

Cannolis. But not just Cannolis, Love Cannolis:

I am sure they taste great, but they win on looks alone!

Ten we have the love dots. Mini pecan coated muffins with a dove chocolate on top:

You had me at pecan and chocolate! Who am I kidding, you had me at love dot. SO CUTE!

These heart shaped truffles are making it to our party this year:

They are basically the same as a regular truffle (made with chocolate and cream) but instead of being rolled into balls they are cut out with a cookie cutter and then covered in powdered sugar and cocoa.

And they filled these chocolate cups (made from melting down some of your favorite chocolate candy and brushing it onto aluminum cupcake liners) with M&Ms and other candies. I would use them to hold ice cream or pudding with a few candies on top.

And there is even something for you if you don't feel like baking:

Love the little cannolis! Those will look great on the dessert bar for the Sugar & Spice baby shower I'm planning.

I am so glad you are here to help me plan the school Valentine's party! But we have to have healthy food (dumb) so I'll just have to make all these treats for myself.
