Bed Swing

This has nothing to do with organizing, but right now I want one of these:

A couple of years ago there was a bed swing on an episode of That's So Raven and I didn't think they were something real people had...until I saw THIS post on Remodeling Guy where he suggests that you should build one this year. Ummm....OKAY!!

The only problem is that if I build one for me I will NEVER get my kids out of my bed!

I've always wanted one too! I also fell in love with this hammock/bed/beanbag thingy: www.lebeanock.com/

I saw this too and thought it would be fabulous on a big screened in porch.
Happy New Year!

These swing beds are very common in a place called Yelapa. It's near Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. The reason everyone has one is due to scorpions.

WHOA!!! Hello honeymoon at home! Totally want, but the ceiling fan will have to move. Wonder if Remodel Guy has a tutorial for that...

I'd be afraid it would fall right out of the ceiling when I climbed into bed at night! But it looks fun!

Ooh, if scorpions ever become a problem here (as it is where some friends live nearby), then I might have some leverage talking my husband into building one of these!

First I'll have to figure out how to keep the pillows from falling off the bed though...

Thanks for noticing! And telling your friends! Have a great week!

That's awesome and amazing. I have a huge beam in my otherwise elegant master bedroom. Maybe I could use it for part of the mounting.
