Holiday Wall Art

Apothecary jars filled with ornaments are always beautiful, but what I love in this picture from HGTV are the ornaments on the wall behind the jars.

They covered a picture with craft paper (I think burlap or even a drop cloth would be pretty and add some fun texture) and then attached the ornaments using pull and release tape. (The same kind of stuff that is on the 3M hooks you can put on your wall.)

I think it would be fun to do a Christmas tree shape out of green ornaments! Probably because I am still stuck on the fact that we don't have a tree this year. But you have to agree that it would be cute.

You can see the full wall display in THIS video.

you could at least get a little tree and just let the kids decorate it with paper type ornaments that they make...they'll probably bring home enough from school to fill it between now and next week

How cute! I have a message board I might try this on. Thanks for the idea!

That is a very neat idea. I have a big wall in the family room I was trying to decide what to do with it. Might move my bulletin board in and do that. Merry SITSmas.
