Along with the traditional ornaments, she filled her jars with snowflakes. The kind that come in a bag from Hobby Lobby. They look beautiful and can be kept up well past Christmas with the wintery theme to them.I have to find me some of that fake snow!
And as if that wasn't enough, she MADE those jars! You can get the tutorial for them HERE.

Mine aren't filled yet, buuuut I'm thinkin' some snow is just lovely!
Last year I put some Christmas pixies in them like Wendy @ The Shabby Nest.. I told my kids not to open the tops or they'd fly away. Worked like a charm. I'm glad too, that fake snow gets EVERYWHERE if you spill it! ick!

I kind of like Be Normal Act...Different for these jars. [Little known fact] one day I'd like to open an Apothecary.
Fake snow is better than real snow for many reasons: can't cause your car to slide, and can't melt in your apothecary jars! ;D
I am loving those jars. Gotta make me some and fill them with some of that fake snow!! Love me some Hobby Lobby!
I love doing stuff like this with apothecary jars! I just got my Martha Stewart Encyclopedia of Crafts book and I'm in trouble. Your blog is very cool. Very me!
