Fall Placemat

This year we will have Thanksgiving with both my family and my husbands family, like we have done every year since we have been married. Next year we will live 1000 miles away. And since we will probably want to come home for Christmas, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving on our own. I could list 1,000 reasons why I am not ready to do that, but one of them is I don't have any place mats. Okay, that is probably the most insignificant reason, but it is the truth!

These cute place mats from Parents.com are made out of muslin (cut with pinking sheers), some yarn, and then stamped with fun Fall colors:

They are perfect for the kiddie table, but I think they could easily be adult-ified! And I can SO do this!

And I posted about these aprons last year:

And I think they would make some pretty cute place mats as well.

Good thing I have a year to decide!

Those placemats are adorable...how cute would they be stamped with the kids' thumbprints? I think I see these in our future! Thanks so much for checking out my blog, it's great that you stopped by!

Those are both really cute! I am going to make little bottle cap pin cushions as place holders this year! I'm excited!

Both of those ideas are SOO cute! If I had more time, we'd try something like those... But oh well... My MIL has a TON of placemats to choose from, so we're never running low on those...

Hi, I'm stopping by from SITS. I currently live 500 miles away from my family but next year I will live ridiculously far from them so it seems we have something in common!
