What you need:
1 1/2 Cans Chicken Broth
1/2 c Water
5 T Butter, melted
5 T Flour
1 T Minced Onion
1/2 t Salt
2 c Half and Half
1/8 t Oregano
4 C Cubed Potatoes with/without skins
1/2 t Pepper
1/8 t Parsley
Green Onions, Cheddar Cheese and Crisp Cooked Bacon Bits for toppings.
What You Do:
Mix chicken broth, water, minced onions, oregano, and parsley in a large pot and bring it to a boil. Turn heat down and simmer for 5 minutes then add melted butter. SLOWLY stir in flour . Add salt and pepper. Add half and half.
Cook until bubbly. Add potatoes. Cook over low to medium heat until the potatoes are tender.

Yum... Potato soup is in my top 3 soups. I'll have to try your recipe because it is different from mine and I'm always up for something new! I've enjoyed all of the countless ideas on your blog.

That's what I've been craving but I make it with vegetarian broth and no bacon bits. Just as yummy! Yours looks fantastic!
When do you add the potatoes? Am I missing it in the recipe?? I'd LOVE to make this!
