Twinkle Twinkle Little Pumpkins

*sigh*

image from Martha Stewart

So pretty! And you even get to use power tools! A drill bit makes for easy hole making for these perfectly celestial twinkling star pumpkins.

I do something similar with those pumpkins you buy at Michaels. A small string of Christmas lights and a pumpkin that never rots once it is cut makes for affordable decorations you get use over and over again.

I buy one of those plastic pumpkins drill holes in the top and put lollipops in them.

So beautiful! I read in a magazine that you drill holes and insert marbles! Wonder if you can use light brite pegs? Thanks for sharing, you always find such great ideas! Have a great day!

Marbles and light bright pegs are a good idea. They just put a string of Christmas lights inside and poked the lights in each hole.

Gorgeous! Although a little word of advice, make sure you use a good quality drill, and good quality drill bit. I burnt out my husbands' drill a few years ago doing this very project! Oops. It took me a couple of years to get drill priveleges back. ;)

That would be the perfect thing to do to those fake foam pumpkins.

Australia doesn't celebrate Halloween...but I'm willing to make an exception with these pumpkins!
