Use a craft knife and a piece of cardboard to make a star stencil. Then mist the grass with some water and sift white flour over it. If you want to be able to walk over then, use spray chalk.

that is cool! But flour and water...won't that make the grass gloppy after a while?
My husband will think I'm weird, but I am so doing this next year!
