I love this idea. I have ton of old buttons that belonged to my mother and grandmother. I've never known what to do with them but I didn't want to get rid of them. Thanks for the idea!

That's a looooooooooooooot of buttons!
I have 4 jars with a piece of homespun tied around them in my laundry room. My Grandmother "hooked" me up with buttons that were too pretty to hide.
