Keep the Bugs Out
Country Living had a great idea for keeping bugs out of your food when you are eating outside this summer:
Dish up individual servings of salads into glass jars. While the food is on the table AND while your guests are enjoying it, they can keep the bugs away by keeping the lid closed.
And it is a really cute (and completely reusable) idea too!
That IS so cute! I love little canning jars anyway. Inherited some old green ones from my in-laws, but they're more decorative than functional. Thanks for the link to Sur La Table!

What kind of bugs? I might be able to find a solution for yout! ;D
Way too many dishes for me! But you could get the paper cups with lids from a restaurant or kitchen supply store and do the same thing.
I think I would just put the table salad in a larger jar or covered container, and let the guests worry about their own plates.
