4th of July Paper Chain

I found this paper chain by Kaitlin Sheaffer on Flickr:

and I think it might be my favorite 4th of July decoration ever! I don't have any paper that color...or a printer that prints in color...or big scallop scissors...but I will find a way to make these!

I have been doing some searching. I am pretty sure that is just kraft colored cardstock. You can download the font here for free. And even if you don't have scalloped scissors I think it would be cute with straight edges.

I have no idea what kind of paper that is, aside from looking like the stuff kid's learn to write their letters on, but that's a very fun looking project.

I agree, it looks like our paper at school for the younger grades only darker. I wonder if it's something you could find at a craft store. Love the idea!

Oh geeze that is adorable! I have cardstock that color, a color printer and possibly the right scissors, BUT it seems a lot easier and cheaper to go to her Etsy store and buy a set for $4.00! What a great price! Thanks for sharing this find!

I agree. $4 is a great price! But you can get the font for free here if you are interested:
