White Pedastals

Real Simple is trying to kill me. Or at least trying to get me to spend my tax refund frivolously instead of on one of the million things it should be spent on.

Yesterday they posted this:

and this:

And six other white pedestal servers that are gorgeous. You can see them all here.

I want them all. But that is just silly. Hey, I just started following Oprah on Twitter! Maybe she will decide that I should be her new BFF and buy me all of these white pedestal serving dishes just because that is what billionaire BFFs do! I guess she would have to follow me back first!

Those are pretty; I like the white ones stacked up! Keep dreaming about Oprah! haha. I just bought a cake dome (I posted pictures a few days ago), and trying to think of creative things for it! Love the pictures

With a wedding coming up for my son, this is so great. Thanks.

Those are really pretty. I suggest hitting the Goodwill or the Thrift stores for similar items. Cheaper, and likely to be more unique.

YOu're in the Phx area, right? I saw some super cute pedastals @ Fry's on their Easter clearance table. They were pink & ceramic, but maybe other stores have different colors.

I totally think that Oprah will send them to you. So start watching for that box!

Haha, I just bought a new cake stand on Wednesday! It is very similar to the first photo ... it has a ruffeled edge. I love those little beauties.

I LOVE those, but of course, I'm thinking about how I could make them out of thrift store plates and candlesticks!

Have you ever been to Kimm at Reinvented's blog?

She has made some awesome white pedestals by attaching a white plate to a white candlestick. She always gets her stuff at yard sales, and thrift stores...so they're really cheap, but really beautiful!

I love Real Simple.

I love those pedestals too. Where would you store one? I have such a small kitchen that stuff like this, although beautiful, is still a beast to store.
