Fireflies Cookies

I found a new blog that I love. Chic Cookies! She made these cute dragonfly cookies:

She made the dragonflies out of Starburst candies. She rolled some out to make the wings and rolled some into balls for the bodies, then used corn syrup to attach them to store bought cookies.

With summer around the corner these are a great alternative to actually baking something. I refuse to turn on the oven from June - August. When it is 110 degrees outside it should be against the law to turn on the oven!

How cute! I wonder if you can still get the white dipped oreos...those would be so springy and cute on those!

I'm so happy there are blogs like yours, to help the non-creative people like me!

To be creative enough to even think about rolling out Starburst candy is beyond me!
I can admire from afar!

Thanks for the shout-out! These Starburst dragonflies have been uber-popular. (Leigh, I think the white dipped oreos are a winter thing, sigh. I couldn't find them. I did make snowmen and snowflakes with them months ago!)
