Cultural Pass

If you live in AZ, here is a little Easter present for you. Not from the Easter bunny, but from the library!

I found out about the Cultural Pass from Angie's blog (THANK YOU ANGIE!!)

So what is it? You go to your local library (check here to see if they participate...they pretty much all do!) and you check out a pass to places like the Phoenix Zoo, the Children's Museum of Phoenix, The Phoenix Art Museum and the Arizona Science Center and more. You can check out the other participating museums here.

When you check out you get a receipt that admits 4 people into the museum you choose. The numbers are limited so you will want to get there early and check out which ones are available that day before you go. Passes last 7 days from the time they are issued, so you have a week to use them and then they expire! No need to return them to the library!!

If you are not from AZ, this post was probably boring, but check and find out if you city does something similar! If you know your area does, leave a comment here and tell me about it!

I agree this program is fantastic, but are you sure you should be spreading the word? The popular passes are always checked out at my library. Shhh!!!! It'll just be our secret!

Oh, you have to actually check something out? I thought you just went to the library and picked up your free tickets. It's still cool though! lol
