Balloon Garland

I really only like balloons when they are filled with helium and there are a million. I tend to like things in large quantities. I might have to look into that. You know the scene in My Best Friends Wedding where they are filling up balloons with helium and the entire tennis court is filled with balloons with long ribbon. That is my idea of decorating with balloons. But helium tanks are not cheap and there are so many other things you could spend the money on.

But I found this Tiara Mia pictures on Oh Joy and I think I found a way to decorate with balloons, no helium required, that I really love:

It might just be the sunset that is making me love it, but I think it would work in full light or inside too!

GENIUS!

Think of how lovely they'd be indoors , too...a garland above the windows for a birthday party or (gasp!) a baby shower! ooh! I'm throwing a baby shower on Saturday and was trying to figure out how to do the balloon thing (a must with me) *and* the 30 guests in a smaller house. A garland! brilliant!

Love this idea. Had to laugh remembering the balloon scene from "My Best Friend's Wedding"!

I, too, prefer balloons as a huge bunch rather than singly. :)
