30 Meals

If you ever struggle with what to make for dinner, Nannygoat has a great project on their blog right now called 30 meals. The idea is to find 30 meals that your family loves, write down the recipes so that they are all in the same place, and make an ingredient list for all of your 30 meals so that the shopping is easier. When you are done you have the frame work for a month worth of meals your family will love.

And soon they are going to have a tutorial for this recipe box:

That that hangs on your fridge! Cute! I might have to give this a shot. I need to get back to planning my meals at least a week in advance. Dinnertime is so much less stressful that way.

You may have seen this on UCreate yesterday! I did!

Awesome idea!! And the subsequent months you could rotate the meals. Wonder if they would ever notice? LOL Sometimes I don't think they notice what they eat, they just expect it to be there for them.

Thena, even if you didn't rotate them I don't think they would notice. I don't even think my husband would notice if we ate meatloaf on the 1st of every month! ;D

ok, i used the "dinner is ready" book and loved it. i spent about 10 hours from start to finish, but ended up with a freezer full of food. i've done it now 3 times. it takes more motivation each time to get myself ready do it, but i'm always glad when it's done:-)

I started a project like this once but never finished it. I'm suddenly feeling inspired - thank you!
