Thread Eggs

Sunday Baker posted these cute thread Easter eggs:

She blew up small balloons, soaked embroidery floss with starch and then wrapped the floss around the balloons and let them dry.

And then she hung them on on a tree:

Those are so cute. I've got A LOT of embroidery floss leftover from my cross-stitching days, may have to try that!

Kimm, me too! Oh how I loved cross stitching!! Then I used it for scrapbooking. But now I think it will be perfect for those eggs!!

I remember doing this in grade school but with white string. Love the use of the colored floss.
