Loads of Hope

I found out about a program I wanted to share with you. It is called Loads of Hope. It is from Tide and first off I think it is a super clever name! I love clever!

It all started after Hurricane Katrina. There was a critical need for clean clothing, so Tide brought a ton of washing machines to Camp Hope in the Metairie, LA area and cleaned over 10,000 loads of laundry.

Pretty cool!

And they have kept doing it. In the aftermath of a natural disaster they travel to disaster affected neighborhoods with the Tide Loads of Hope truck and do laundry for people in need. The truck is SUPER cool! It contains 32 high-efficiency washers and dryers and it can do 300 loads a day! I wish I had one of those at my house!!

I think it is a great programs and if you are interested, you can support the program by buying one of these cool vintage T-shirts:

Go check them out!
