Glass etching is popping up all over the place and it keeps getting better! Sarah from Create Studio has a tutorial for this etched monogram bowl:
She used clear contact paper to make a stencil by adhering it to the bowl and using an Exacto knife to cut out the monogram. (She printed the monogram she wanted to use and adhered it to the inside of the bowl so that she could use it as a guide while cutting the contact paper).
She also gives a nice little tip...the etching cream can usually be reused! So when you wipe off a large amount like what you use in this project, you can wipe it back into the bottle! Good to know.
I want one for myself, but it would make a great personalized wedding gift. And June is right around the corner!

Thanks so much for linking up to my tutorial! I hope you all enjoy this easy craft as much as I have!
I've been wanting to do this forever! Seriously like years! Thanks for posting the info and good luck on your projects too, you better post pics of the finished project!
THANK YOU!
seriously. I was puzzling over what I would get as a wedding gift for my husband's brother and his new wife (September).
I have that same bowl sitting un-used in my cupboard. I am so going to try this monogram. I am ALL about a monogram! You post such fabulous ideas.
Thanks ~ Amanda
Love the etched bowl.. Thanks so much for the tips...

Another thing you can use this for is to put your name or last name on your pyrex dishes. When you take them to people homes or to parties, your name is already on them so you can get them back!! Now I just need to go and do it!
I love the apples in the etched bowl. That is super cool!!!!! And pretty!
