Button Up Dress

See this cute dress:


U Create posted it on her blog. It was made from this not so cute shirt:

See, here are the buttons:

I am sort of in love with this idea! What a great way to make clothes go the extra mile! And in a cute way! And although I am sure it is more difficult than it looks, it does actually look doable!

The idea came from a post by cheytown on the crafster forum. I so didn't need to know about Craftster!

Oh, and this post shows you how to use the sleeves of the shirt to make matching bloomers!!

I have made three of these so far and plan on making a few more for birthday presents in a couple of weeks! I had no idea there was a matching bloomers!

Cute! I actually make my 4 y/o son pants out of his dads button up shirts. He loves them. i call them his coolio pants. I love the dress idea.
