Tomato Soup

We always have tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for Halloween. I might have to make it a Valentine's tradition too. Maybe lunch:

Just put some sour cream in one of these bottles:

Don't have a bottle like this, you can cut the corner off of a sandwich bag and do the same thing, but the next time you see clear bottles like these, pick one up.

Or two.

Or a dozen.

They are cheap and there are a lot of fun things you can do with them. Like making hearts on tomato soup. Or decorating desert plates with chocolate to make them fancy. Decorating sugar cookies using the flood method. Filling them with syrup and letting your kids decorate their pancakes with them! (This is super fun if you us jellies too! Then they can decorate their pancakes with different colors!!) Lots of other things too! Get some!

What a cute idea! I need to get some of those. I think I've seen them at the Dollar Tree (although they may have just had red and yellow). Do you think you could put icing in those for writing on cakes?

Tomato soup and grilled cheese are a staple at our house! I love the squeeze bottle idea, I could of used that last night. I was making shapes w/melted white chocolate. Would of worked better than my plastic bag w/the hole! Thanks for the tip!

Okay... I haven't had tomato soup in YEARS. Sounds YUMMO, though! :)

And, can I just say... you're a GENIUS! I have googled and re-googled and re-googled trying to figure out my stinkin' CSS problems. And, here you come in and save the day like it's nothing! Thanks SOOO much! That was such an easy fix!!! You're the best!

Oh, and hey... I think a friend of yours commented on my Wii cake wanting more details. I don't know how to get in touch with her, though. Feel free to give her my email address: amycoffeyphotography at gmail dot com.

Sweetheart Mom, I love homemade tomato soup! My MIL makes some amazing homemade tomato soup and it is 1000 times better than any tomato soup you can buy in a can!

Or fill those bottles with water and food coloring and let the kids "draw" outside on the snow.
