It is only fair that the Indians get their share of Thanksgiving treats! I mean the Pilgrims and the Turkeys shouldn't have all the fun!
These are from Christie at These Are A Few of My Favorite Things...one of my NEW favorite blogs! She made these for her cub scouts. I hope my son gets a Cub Scout leader like her! But they would have to get rid of the Cub Scout leader they have now! She is Booooooooooring! (For those of you that don't get the joke, I AM the Cub Scout Leader! :P)

Ahem, in the interest of historical accuracy, tipis are the homes of the Plains Indians. The Native American's who met the Pilgrams lived in something else, long houses I think, although I am not positive. Ahem.
I love your blog - I just ran across it while reading Jillene's. I am going to make the teepe's tomorrow for the kids for Thanksgiving. Do you mind if link to this post on my blog: www.gatherroundourtable.blogspot.com? i won't link until I check back and make sure it's o.k.
