Sweater Stockings

I think I have found THE stockings that I want. I am in love with these sweater stockings from Martha.

She has a template on her site that you trace onto a sweater and then stitch together. I think it would be fun to make this year out of some of their Christmas sweaters from Christmas past!

Lorie: HELP!! I need an easy (since I am no cook) cookie recipe that is never fail. I'm going to visit a book club that meets in our subdivision. For Christmas, each person is supposed to make cookies and bring the recipe to share. I don't have a recipe!! Any advice? Much appreciated if you do. D

I love these! It would be so much easier to get stuff out of the bottom of stockings like these!

Donnetta, I have a cookie recipe! It is the "Ultimate Chocolate chip cookie" recipe right on the Crisco can. It is SOOO good! Just make sure to add 1/2 cup more flour than it says.

Donette, I have a FABULOUS Sugar cookie recipe that doesn't require chilling the dough! It is TO DIE for yummy and they always come out great (I am not a good cookie baker, but I have never had a batch not be percect!!)

When do you need it by?

Those would be soooo cool out of some of my gorgeous embroidered Christmas Teacher-sweaters that aren't "in" anymore!

Love this idea. I have several sweaters that I've been holding on to for no reason. Have you seen all of the cute "Martha Stuff" they now carry at Walmart? SO CUTE.

Fantastic! I just can't seem to part with some of the sweaters the kids' have outgrown, so this is perfect for reinventing them. Now I can justify keeping them!

You have a great blog. I love all of the ideas you post. Thanks for sharing your good taste!
