Yum! You can also make some without anything cut out, put a layer of jam or frosting on it, then put one with something cut out of it on top. I have no idea if that made any sense. This just reminded me of some cookies my mom makes that are like that.
But out big circle cookies and then use your small holiday shapes to cut out the inside of the circle. And the best part, you can bake both!
