Redecorating In My Mind: the girls room

My sister in law has some really cute framed sketches of dresses in one of the rooms of her house. They are extra special because they are actually from dresses that were created for her grandma and aunts to wear, but even without the sentimental value they are adorable! Just one of her many ideas that I plan on one day copying.

Today I was looking at a few blogs and came across the idea of framing Barbie clothes in a shadow box. You used to be able to buy like this:

but you can use any shadow box and any Barbie outfit.

in a post on Poppytalk which is a lot closer to what I am thinking of doing. Now all I have to do is figure out the colors I want and find some cute Barbie ensembles to match!
