Eggshell Flowerpots

Eggshell Flowerpots from Martha Stewart

I have been to Lowe's a couple of times this last week and at the check out aisle they have these colorful eggs that have flowers planted in them.  I am always tempted to get them for the kids to plant, but I think it would be more fun to make our own.  Martha shows you how you can HERE.

They are a fun way to start a garden, but make a little stand for each egg and instead of putting picks in them with the type of plant, put your guests name and use them as a unique place card.

What a cute idea...amd then you can just plant the shell in the ground...

I just saw this idea somewhere else yesterday and I bought seeds to do an herb garden with the kids. In fact if I could stop commenting on all of your posts I would start on that now.
