Each summer we make a list of things that we want to do and hang it on the fridge. One by one we cross them out as the summer passes. The kids love it and the list lets us look at all of the ideas and find one that fits our day.
Kelly at Little Wonders' Days does something similar, but her idea requires one of these:
She made it a bucket list! Each of the activities is color coded by how much time it will take and they just randomly pick then out of the bucket. I might have to have a little bit more of a system (like a color for rainy days, for days when someone is under the weather, or days when mom is lazy!) but I love the bucket list idea!
