Anthropologie can make anything cute, so when they mix copper pipe and wood spindles to create their $2,800 Ascension Lamp, people swoon.  I don't know many people that actually fork out the $2,800.  I am sure there are some, I just don't know them.  But then, lucky for the rest of us, there are people like Janel that are inspired to make their own DIY version that comes in under $100.
